This discussion will be led by Vacation Rental Queen, Denice Kolodny, and Data Guru, Scott King.
Yes, short term rentals (30 days or longer) are allowed anywhere on Oahu unless you have one of the permits that allows for less time. There are about 900 permits out there and a lot of them are in Kailua. So we will be discussing the rules and strategies on how to best do this.
We'll be discussing the 20+ buildings that are zoned for vacation rentals (1 day or a week rentals) and how to run numbers to know if it's a good fit for you.
