A Little Pi Day, A Little Pizza, A Lot of Aloha!

We wanted to do something fun for Pi Day this year (we love a themed day if you haven’t noticed!) after all, what better way to celebrate 3.14 than with pizza pie?

Our friends over at Mad Pie opened their doors just last year, and we couldn’t have been happier to team up with them for the occasion. It felt like the perfect pairing: a day dedicated to π and a spot already becoming a local favorite.

The Kind of Weekend You Don’t Overthink

‍For our Island Living Homes ʻohana and clients, we had something special lined up: 50% off fresh cheese or pepperoni pizza pies delivered straight from Mad Pie.

But Hawaiʻi had its own plans.

With the Kona storm rolling in that week and deliveries originally set for Friday, we made the call to shift Windward deliveries to Saturday instead. It felt like the right choice, prioritizing the safety of our friends at Mad Pie preparing the pizzas, and our agents personally delivering each pie to their clients. And honestly, we’re so grateful we did. That storm was no joke, it impacted so many businesses, families, and homes across the island.

By Saturday, things had settled just enough. The rain softened, the roads felt calmer, and the whole experience became something even more intentional. Agents made their way around Kailua, hand-delivering pizzas, sharing quick conversations, and turning what could’ve been a simple drop-off into something a little more personal.

In town, clients had the chance to stop by Mad Pie and experience it for themselves, an awesome location, incredible pizza, and desserts that were well worth the upgrade.

100 Slices, Gone in No Time

‍But why stop there?! To make things even more fun, we hosted a Pi Day giveaway on social media, 100 free slices for the community and they went fast! A small offering, a lot of excitement, and proof that people love the simple things like great pizza and supporting local businesses.

More Than a Moment

‍In a place like Hawaiʻi, it doesn’t take much to make something feel special. A familiar spot. A favorite meal. A small gesture that turns an ordinary day into something you remember a little more clearly.That’s all this was meant to be.
