About the Event

Join us for some family time by Bellows Beach Park. We will have an ILH Sign & tent set up with drinks and light snacks to keep the kiddos going! You have chosen Winter Forest themed mini session for Oct. 26th, 2019!

Your family will have a 20 minute time slot with our in-house photographer, in your chosen themed location.

Be puntual! We ask that families arrive 15-20 minutes early to settle in, get in the grove and to make sure each family that's participating gets sufficiente time infront of the camera. Timing and Lighting are key!

TIPS TO CONSIDER:

We all know the struggle is real when it comes to taking a good family portrait. You know, one that looks normal, not awkward. So here's some pointers to consider before heading out for your beach holiday photos!

+ Take a close look at your home decor. What does your home decor have to do with family picture outfits? A lot actually.

Do you like bright colors? Neutrals? Since you will be hanging these photos in your house you want to make sure the colors of your clothes go with the color scheme of your home.

+ If you make taking family portraits a stressful endeavor, chances are everyone in the family will catch on. If the wind is making everyone’s hair blow or if sand is being shot up into everyone’s eyes due to the same darn wind, just laugh it off and don’t take it too seriously. Those funny moments are what your family will remember later on. So just have fun with it!

+ Plan all outfits ahead of time and decide what mood you are going for.  Make sure you aren’t too matchy matchy but rather that the colors just flow together well. Once you’ve decided on each piece, lay everything next to each other to make sure it all looks great aesthetically.

+ We know that white looks good on your fresh tan, and it’s a shirt color everyone already has…etc, etc. Instead, mix whites and neutrals in with pops of color, while still coordinating enough to look cohesive. Yellows, corals, and bold colors look nice against a woodsy backdrop.
