Island Living Homes Annual Holiday Client Photos: A Tradition We Treasure 📸✨

At Island Living Homes, our annual holiday complimentary client photos have become one of our favorite traditions, one that means so much more than simply taking pictures. A home isn’t just a place; it’s the people you love who make it feel like home. Every year, we celebrate that by capturing families in all the beautiful ways they exist for our clients. Whether it’s couples, kids, pups, or anyone who feels like “ohana,” these sessions give us the chance to document a meaningful chapter in their lives. The photos become keepsakes, memories held onto for years, and we’re honored to help preserve them.

Each year brings a new location and a fresh backdrop, and for 2025 we chose the incredible Bellows Beach in Waimanalo. With its bright blue water, soft sand, and open coastline, it was the perfect place for classic beach family photos. We kept things simple this year with no holiday props, just natural beauty, candid smiles, and genuine moments. Some clients use their photos for holiday cards, while others simply enjoyed them as timeless images to look back on, and we loved being part of every story.

We arrived at 7 a.m. to set up tents, chairs, food, music, drinks, and games for the kids, creating a fun, relaxed space where families could hang out before or after their sessions. Our first clients came at 9 a.m., and from that moment the energy was amazing. Our in-house photographer led the day while our agents helped by holding reflectors to soften the sun, making sure every family had beautifully lit photos despite the bright beach light. What you’ll see below is just a small glimpse into the behind-the-scenes moments and some of the wonderful client photos captured throughout the day.

Once our last session wrapped, the day took a hilarious turn. We saw a wall of rain moving in from offshore and started packing as quickly as possible, making multiple trips back and forth. (This was a workout in itself, steps in plus heavy lifting! 😂) But there was no beating the weather, it caught us! Within minutes we were drenched, laughing so hard we could barely see through the downpour. It became one of those core memories for our team, and thankfully the rain held off until every client was completely finished. The rest of the day had been a little windy, sunny, beautiful, and filled with laughter!
