Kailua

Nestled on the eastern coastline of the Ko’olau Mountains and near the Kaneohe Marine Corp Base, you will find Kailua - your postcard perfect, quintessential beach town. Some of the island’s most beautiful and loved beaches stretch along Kailua Bay.  Kailua Beach Park is a wind and kite surfer’s paradise, while the tender waves at Kalama Beach Park, host surf competitions for local keiki. The clear waters of picturesque Lanikai Beach give access to the famous Mokulua (twin) Islands, while the hiking trails above feature the Lanikai Pillboxes and stunning views from the Ka’iwa Ridge Trail.  Kailua’s charming village lifestyle is sprinkled with beachy boutiques, local brewery tasting rooms, and multiple vibrant farmers’ markets.  Known for being a very “walkable and bikeable” community, Kailua is a truly an island gem.

" I  WASN'T BORN AT THE BEACH, BUT I GOT HERE AS FAST AS I COULD"

Kaneohe

Kaneohe overlooks Kaneohe Bay, which offers all sorts of activities including fishing, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, or going out to the famous sandbar to just float around and enjoy the day with friends. Residents are also just minutes away from local landmarks like Chinaman's Hat and some of the world's most gorgeous beaches.

Kaneohe has three golf courses, a yacht club and marina, a community college, shopping mall, farmers markets, a district park, Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens, Hawaii Pacific University campus, and so much more for your kama'aina lifestyle. This town is steeped in Hawaiian history and traditions – a delightful rural community with natural beauty and cooling trade winds.

"IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THESE MAGICAL VIEWS"

Waimanalo

Waimanalo is a small, rural community sandwiched between the Koolau mountain range and Waimanalo Bay on the eastern side of Oahu.

Visitors to Oahu’s lush Windward side often bypass Waimanalo for its larger and more northerly neighbor, Kailua town, or drive through on their way to Sea Life Park on the island’s southern tip, Makapuu Point. But that’s a mistake.

The communities of Waimanalo and Waimanalo Beach, collectively called Waimanalo, have gorgeous white sand beaches, snorkeling with near-guaranteed honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle) sightings, several hole-in-the-wall but worth a stop eateries, roaming bands of wild chickens, and a handful of family-owned farms that grow leafy and trendy “‘Nalo greens” destined for farmers markets and dinner plates.

" WHITE SAND AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE, YES PLEASE"
