2024 Summer Camps in Kailua and across Oahu


Kailua Music School: Friends • Fun • Stories • Rock & Roll

Rock into another hot season of music at Kailua Music School! Our Summer Programs are available with exciting opportunities for students of all ages and skill levels.

  • Location: 131 Hekili St 209, Kailua.

  • Ages: Ages range 4-17.

  • Times and days: Variety of options.

  • Fees: Range of pricing.


Sew Kailua: Creative Kids Summer Camp teaches handcrafts in a way that gets kids laughing while they learn basic hand stitch work.

  • Location: 155 Pukoa St, Kailua.

  • Ages: Ages 6 1/2 - 11

  • Times and days: June 10-14, July 8-12 and July 22-26 - 9:30am-2:00pm

  • Fees: $320-400 per week.


Le Jardin Academy: Activities include: swimming, field trips, gardening, cooking, games, art, S.T.E.A.M., computer and more!

  • Location: 917 Kalaniana'ole Highway, Kailua.

  • Ages: K-12

  • Times and days: Many options from 1 class to full days.

  • Fees: Price per class.


Kidz Art: Range of different camps!

  • Location: St. Christopher's Church, 93 N Kainalu Dr. Kailua & 905 Kalanianaʻole Hwy, 3304/3313, Kailua, HI 96734  

  • Ages: Ages 3-12 with a Teen Volunteer Program option.

  • Times and days: Dates all summer long!

  • Fees: Range from $350-395/ week or $100 per day.


Kama'aina Kids: Our program this year, A Summer Full of Wonder, is built around hands-on, enriching activities focusing on the world around us. Each week will include a variety of experiences—both on-site and off-site—which are planned by our staff and aimed at strengthening each child’s Social Emotional Learning through hands-on and collaborative engagements.

  • Locations across Oahu, including Enchanted Lakes Elem in Kailua.

  • Ages: Grades K-6.

YMCA - Camp Erdman: Kids and teens come back year after year to experience magic moments during 5-night, 6-day overnight stays that emphasize personal growth through choice.

  • Locations 69-385 Farrington Hwy, Waialua.

  • Ages: Ages 7-17

  • Times and days: Many options with themes for each week.

  • Fees: Range of fees based on membership/military status.

  • Need-based financial aid is available.


SparkYou: Each week consist of 2 days of science and 3 field trips.

  • Location: Kaohao Elementary School in Kailua.

  • Ages: 6-12 year old

  • Times and days: Full week options with themes.

  • Fees: $550


Honolulu Zoo Society: Zoo camp will immerse your keiki in the vast and unique world of animals. Campers will gain a wealth of knowledge about different animals and the environments in which they live. A different theme is highlighted each session/week and campers learn through hands-on lessons complete with bio-artifacts, interactive activities, crafts and games. Our camps are broken up into three age groups and curriculum is designed to meet national science standards.

  • Location: Honolulu Zoo

  • Ages:

    • Menehune (5-6 years old)

    • ʻimi Loa (7-8 years old)

    • Koa (9-11 years old)

  • Times and days: Full week options with themes, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., optional aftercare until 5:30 p.m.

  • Fees: $360 for Honolulu Zoo Society members and $400 for non-members; aftercare, $100 for members and $120 for non-members


Camp Mokule'ia: Camp Mokule`ia’s resident camp programs provide children and youth opportunities to participate in a variety of age-level appropriate activities such as swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, arts & crafts, group games, low ropes, high ropes challenge course, and hiking. Most of our residential camps are 6 days/5 nights. However, our Mini-Camp is a shorter 3 day/2 night experience for younger/ first time campers.

  • Location: 68-729 Farrington Hwy, Waialua

  • Ages: 1st - 12th grade

  • Times and days: Full week options with themes.

  • Fees: $500 (regular) or $450 (early bird)

Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii: Campers will ride the horses in the morning and the afternoon will be spent on horsemanship training or other fun activities.

  • Location: Waimanalo

  • Ages: 7-12 year old

  • Times and days: Multiple weeklong sessions - 8:30am - 2:30pm

  • Fees: $450
